No deposit is required. Payment is due on the day of your charter.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your trip carry a charge of 50% of the charter price. We can make exceptions when unavoidable circumstances arise, so please contact us as soon as possible.
If we cancel because conditions are unsafe, there is no charge. Brief tropical showers are normal here and do not usually affect your trip. We assess the overall weather and sea conditions before setting off.

What is included in the charter price?
Your private boat, captain, fuel for the standard route, quality snorkel equipment, cruising permits, standard National Parks mooring fees, water, soft drinks, fruit and snacks.
IRIE SOUL also includes a selection of beers. Guests on either boat are welcome to bring their preferred drinks.

On the day
Where do we meet you, and what time?
IRIE normally departs from Soper’s Hole Marina in West End, Tortola, while IRIE SOUL normally departs from Nanny Cay. We will confirm your exact meeting point and pickup time when we arrange your charter.
What should we bring?
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat, plus spending money for lunch ashore. And, of course, a smile and a sense of adventure!
What happens if someone gets seasick?
We take the sea conditions into account when planning your route. If you are prone to seasickness, ask your pharmacist before the trip about a suitable remedy and when to take it. Let us know in advance, and tell your captain straight away if you start to feel unwell on board.
Guests
Is there an age limit for kids?
No, all ages are welcome! Please tell us your children’s ages when booking so we can plan a day that suits your family.
Do guests need to be strong swimmers?
You do not need to be a strong swimmer to enjoy a day with us. We carry flotation aids and noodles, and tailor water activities to your confidence and the conditions. If anyone is a nervous swimmer or cannot swim, please let us know before booking so we can discuss suitable options.
Can we book a private charter?
Yes, every trip is a private charter, built entirely around your group. The boat is yours for the day, and we will help you choose the snorkel spots, beaches and lunch stops that suit you.
The boats & activities
Which boat is right for my group?
IRIE takes up to 6 guests and is a great choice for couples, families and small groups looking for a fantastic day at a lower price.
IRIE SOUL takes up to 7 guests and offers extra space, comfort and a few luxury touches.
For groups of 8 to 13 guests, we can arrange both boats to travel together.
Is snorkel gear provided?
Yes, quality masks, snorkels and fins are included. You won’t get foggy masks or a sinus headache on our watch! As dive instructors, we know how much the right gear matters. We will help you find a comfortable fit so you can enjoy exploring the reef.
Can we fish along the way?
No, fishing is not offered on our charters.
Do you go to The Baths?
Yes, when sea conditions allow. However, it is a longer boat journey, it can get crowded on cruise ship days, and a north swell can make swimming ashore unsafe.
For many guests, we recommend visiting independently by ferry. We are happy to help you work out the best option for your visit.
Safety
What safety gear is on board?
Coastguard-approved safety gear on both boats include First Aid kit, Oxygen Kit, VHF Radios, Life jackets, Flotation Devices, Flares, Fire Extinguishers.
Are the captains certified?
Yes, all our captains are BVI Licenced, have decades of experience and are First Aid certified.
